One of Alberta’s best scotch collection resides in the small town of Wainwright. Now people will know!

Jay & Sandra Robinson of Wainwright Liquor & Cold Beer provide the local community with a vast selection of liquor products from around the world. They opened the doors 22 years ago on January 31, 1994, and offered customers some 500 items to choose from. Today, customers have access to over 3,200 in store products, and the selection continues to grow. When we discussed the future of the Wainwright website we focused on selection. We came up with a new website design that created improved awareness of products, while making information easier to access through responsive web design.

PUNDYK developed the home page with the goal of selling selection. A main banner featured a wall of win, and was followed by great visuals focused on the core products offered, including a new Growler Bar. The product pages were created for easy navigation with a click left/right feature so you could bounce between pages. Each page has a image slideshow that showcases some of their products. We also created their first email marketing form to help promote weekly sales.

Search Engine Optimization

SEO was new to Jay and Sandra. We setup their first Google Analytics account to begin measuring inbound site traffic. We also worked with them on site content optimization to ensure web pages were indexed by search engines. Today, they rank on page 1 result 1 for Wainwright Liquor Stores, which is fantastic exposure. 

Managed Services

PUNDYK provides a suite of managed web services for Wainwright Liquor Store as well. This package includes hosting, WordPress software and plugin updates, security and basic content updates all for a low monthly fee. Maintaining the integrity of a website is the most important way to protect the integrity of your digital investment. Think about a car?
